Quaker Valley MS hockey team gets its first win of the season

Melisko leads the way with a hat trick in what was a complete team effort

Quaker Valley MS Hockey earned its first win of the season on Monday night against Moon Middle School.

Nick Straka had a stellar performance in net, making 18 saves on 19 shots.

Luke Melisko had a hat trick; this was the Quakers’ second hat trick of the season. Kyle Rice added an assist on the first of Luke Melisko’s goals.

Connor Bukoskey also had a great game, netting one goal that was unassisted and assisting on every single one of Luke Melisko’s goals.

The captain Hunter Fetterolf, tied for most points on the team, also had one of the five goals, assisted by Noah Mattie.

Quaker Valley has its next game against Blackhawk on Tuesday, December 13 at Beaver Ice.
