Humans of QVMS: Juliette Vybiral – Pitcher for the QVMS Softball Team

Hannah Turk, Staff Writer

  1. How did you get started in playing softball?

I started playing when I was 6 years old. I started playing for Avenworth and just stayed with softball.

     2) What posititon do you play? If you could play any other position what would it be and why?

For the Quaker Valley Middle School I am the pitcher. If I could play any other position I would either be short stop or second base, because I also play for a travel team, River city Venom, and those are my positions for that team.

3) What is your favorite memory from softball? Why?

I think my favorite memory was when I was playing for the travel team and we were playing in the championship game against West hills in 12U and we were losing, and I made a diving catch playing short stop. My whole team got fired up and we came back and won the game. It was a very exciting moment for me.

    4) What will you do this summer to keep in shape for summer?

During the summer I get a two week then I get back to work again. I try to stay in shape, and it is not very hard because I am very active.

I don’t play any other sports, but I really like to play basketball and other sports. I am really competitive and active.
